Chilly Cucumber Basil Sorbet is a frozen creamy treat. It is Vegan and Gluten-Free! So here we go and as always, we start with the health benefits of ingredients.

Making it with cucumbers because cucumbers are a great source of vital Vitamins, phosphorus and magnesium and potassium. They are rich in two of the most basic elements needed for healthy digestion: water and fibre.

Chilli Cucumber Basil Sorbet Recipe – Ingredients
Serves: 2-3 people
- 2 cups of grated cucumber
- ¾ cup chopped basil
- 1/3 cup mint leaves
- 1-2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 green chilly
- 1 lime
- Fresh mint sprigs to garnish
Chilli Cucumber Basil Sorbet Recipe – Method of Preparation
Time of preparation: Varies
- Chop the cucumber with its skin.
- Roughly chop basil leaves and mint leaves.
- Take your blender. Put all the ingredients along with honey, green chilli and lime juice.
- Process it until the mixture becomes smooth. Don’t strain it.
- Transfer it to an ice-cream maker and churn it as per the instructions of the device.
(Make it in a Granita if you don’t have an ice cream maker. Texture will differ)
- Transfer it to an airtight container and freeze for 5-6 hours.
- Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and serve it chilled.
